The capital analytical property representativeness (see Sect. 2.4.2) is an essential ingredient of quality in the analytical information (see Fig. 7.1). At its
highest level, the results produced are fully consistent with the social-economic
problem, so the ensuing analytical problem will have been correctly solved
(third level in Fig. 2.8). Thus, properly solving the analytical problem entails
ensuring that the results are fully representative. The analytical problem is also
related to traceability of a sample aliquot (see Box 7.3).
