Russian Federation (Weimin, 2014).
Habitat: Lakes, rivers, and reservoirs.
Description: Body of this species is
elongated and cylindrical. Abdomen
is rounded and compressed at the rear.
Length of caudal peduncle is larger
than the width. Head is medium with
a terminal mouth that is arch shaped.
Upper jaw extends slightly over lower
jaw. Lateral line extends to caudal
peduncle. Anus is close to anal  fin.
Body color is greenish yellow laterally and dorsal portion is dark brown.
Abdomen is grayish white. This species
reaches a maximum size of 1.4  m and
40 kg (Weimin, 2014).

Family: Cyprinidae
Common name: Bighead carp.
Distribution: Asia: China (Welcomme,
1988).
Habitat: Low flow areas of lakes,
creeks, and channels.
Description: Body is laterally compressed and abdomen is rounded. Head
is large and its length is larger than
body height. Mouth is terminal and slanting upward. Lower jaw extends slightly
over upper jaw. Lateral line extends
to caudal peduncle. Tip of ventral fin
reaches and exceeds anus. Body color is
black in dorsal and upper lateral portion
and silvery white in abdomen. Irregular
black spots are seen on the lateral side of
body. Fins are grayish in color. This species reaches a maximum size of 146 cm
and 40 kg (Weimin, 2014).
