narrow slot placed along the axis was used as a filter.
This technique can be applied to study optical characteristics of an isolated nerve
in the transmitted light aging in altering environment particularly under the impact
of high hydrostatic pressure.
Moreover, the possibility of hologram recording of the focused nerve image is of
the great interest (Fig. 2.39).
