30.3.3 Method Three: The Fixed Rod and Its Special Clamp
Figure 30.9 shows the overhead foundation of a 7000 m
3 double wall cryogenic ethylene storage tank (T701) in a large petrochemical enterprise in Jiangsu Province.
The structure of the overhead foundation is similar to the above, except that the
fixed rods extending from the inner tank wall are vertically anchored in the underground concrete foundation. Due to the large surface curvature of these fixed rods,
