The enhanced protection elicited by the nMOMP/A8-35-formulated vaccine as compared to the
nMOMP/Z3-14 one therefore results from a better preservation of the native structure of nMOMP
and/or from a more efficient presentation of the immunogen to the immune system, not from an
unspecific adjuvant effect of A8-35.
