4.3 Domes
4.3.1 Generalised rings
A ring structure can be extended by adding more outer loops connected by
intermediate elements. The intermediate elements between any two neighbouring loops are decided using one of the concepts presented in the previous section. For instance, a ring based on concept B can be put outside of a
ring of concept C to form a mobile assembly shown in Figure 4.8. The
