[138] and a novel peanut-like structures of CdS [139] were prepared (Figure 7.33)
under mild conditions.
Some other nanocrystallites with different morphologies were also prepared by
room-temperature processes, such as a novel non-layered compound Cu 2Àx Se
nanotubes (Figure 7.34), CuE and AgE (E ¼ Se or Te) nanocrystallites (nanotubes,
