A spin trap experiment, parallel to that in the absence of cells, was performed in
the presence of them (Fig. 5.62), assuming that cells take the place of DTT as
reducing agents.
A careful fit of the ESR spectra, taking account of all species, shows a light
increase of the ROS species in the presence of graphite.
