divisions, Tally entries, Revit families, and materials. This information is very useful in further understanding the results and finding targeted ways to lessen the overall impacts of the design. Examples of how Tally can be used to inform design
decisions can be found in Chap. 9.
8.4.4 One Click LCA
Operating at the same scale of a whole building, One Click LCA is an LCIA tool
that can operate standalone or interface with Revit, and other BIM software, to analyze the impacts of a building’s design. However, One Click LCA goes beyond LCA
studies and offers designers the ability to perform life cycle costing, circularity
assessment, carbon benchmarking, and more. One Click LCA also provides information on compliance with several worldwide green design certifications, including
LEED v.4 and Living Building Challenge (Bionova n.d.). While Bionova, the company that developed One Click LCA, is based in Finland, the LCI data is made up
of many databases and is representative of global conditions. One Click LCA sorts
this information into geographical databases, offering information specific to North
America, Europe, South America, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East (Bionova n.d.).
The information presented here is based on a North American business license in
