Step 3.2 Specify operation time (OT):
The OT is the operational period before charging the battery exchange station,
charging the battery exchange station and after charging the battery exchange station.
Step 3.3 Define possible resources in Su-Field model:
(1) Resources of CD:
(a) Substance(s) of main tool: Electrical motorcycle.
(b) Field(s) of main tool: Electricity field.
(c) Substance(s) of object: Battery swapping station.
(d) Field(s) of object: Electricity field.
(2) Resources of environment:
(a) Substance(s) of environment: Solar light, Road.
(b) Field(s) of environment: Electromagnetic field, Atmospheric field, and
Gravity field.
(3) Other resource(s):
(a) Substance(s) of other: Drivers, other electrical motorcycles.
(b) Field(s) of other: Electromagnetic field.
Step 3.4 Select emerging technologies:
Since the system problem in this case is mainly focused on the provision of electric
energy, it is recommended that designers choose emerging technology resources from
the “energy technology” category in the classification table of emerging technologies,
as shown in Table 9.1. This case is based on the “wireless energy transfer” that
clearly provides the energy concept in the energy technology category and the energy
technology “perovskite solar cells” with the same environmental protection concept
as the electrical motorcycles.
The wireless energy transfer technology can transmit power energy to the power
receiving device through magnetic induction or magnetic resonance, and no wire
connection is needed in the whole process. The perovskite solar cells can be known
that the technology is a new type of solar cell, which has higher conversion efficiency
than the traditional solar cells, and the energy source is a renewable resource. As a
new design direction, designers hope to use these two technologies to improve system
problems.

Step 4.1 Check whether the system conflict have auxiliary tool (AT):
The system conflict of this problem does not have auxiliary tool (AT).
