2.2 Model for Quantifying the Indirect Water Footprint
In this case, the theoretical framework is divided into two parts: methodology of
economic analysis of the project and adaptation of this methodology to face environmental analysis. Like the Ecological Footprint (EF) methodology of Solís-Guzmán
(J. [73], it starts from an economic analysis and has been adapted to measure the
complete life cycle of the building: urbanization (Madelyn [47], use and maintenance
[51], 2016), and rehabilitation or demolition [2].
The building’s LCA is completed and advanced, including the study of new indicators such as incorporated energy (EE) [26], carbon footprint (CF) [28, 73, 74] and
