energetic materials. Instead, it is likely that an understanding of the rate of this uppumping may be more indicative. This will be examined here within the purview of
temperature.
It is well known that temperature can have a marked impact on the sensitivities of
energetic materials [63]. With variation over relatively small temperature ranges, two
mechanisms can be proposed for the effect of temperature on the models presented
in this thesis:
