Group on Decision Processes. He is currently an adjunct professor at the Rural Economics Department at the Federal University of Viçosa, where he coordinates research projects in Agribusiness, Cooperatives, and Regional Development. He has experience in the areas of Economics,
Administration and Production Engineering, with an emphasis on Agribusiness and Agroindustrial Systems, acting mainly on the following topics: Strategic Management of Agricultural Enterprises, Modeling, and Simulation of Socioeconomic Systems, Decision-Making Process, and
Decision Support Systems.
Professor Vilmar Rodrigues Moreira is a Ph.D. in Business Administration from FGV-SP
(2009), with a doctoral and postdoctoral internship at Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen-Germany,
holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from PUCPR (2003) and a degree in Mathematics from UFPR (1998). He is a professor at PUCPR, working at the Business School as a
professor and researcher in the Professional Master’s in Cooperative Management, in specialization courses and Management undergraduate course. He is the leader of the research group
GRADCOOP (Risk Management and Performance Analysis in Cooperatives), with experience in
the area of Administration with emphasis on quantitative methods and information systems. His
main areas of expertise are risk management, performance analysis, investment project analysis,
modeling, and simulation.
Professor Luiz Carlos Duclós is a Ph.D. in Computer Applications in Industrial and Systems
Engineering from the University of Southern California (1983). M.Sc. in Production Engineering
from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1971). Mechanical Engineer from the Federal
University of Rio Grande do Sul (1970). Professor at the Department of Statistical and Computer
Sciences at UFSC from 1972 to 1982. Professor at FURB Fundação Universidade Regional de
Blumenau from 1975 to 1976. Junior Lecturer at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at USC—University of Southern California from 1977 to 1979. Professor at the Business
School at PUCPR from 2001 to 2017. In 1975, he developed the concept of GIS for small businesses, anticipating by 15 years the feasibility of computerization with the advent of microcomputers. In 1983, he created the TSL—Total Software Life-Cycle model with the Quality Control
and Cost of the Product Software focusing on its complete life cycle. This work was cited in 2002
in the book Software Pioneers, written by world authorities in Software Engineering. As CEO of
NTS, he introduced the concept of software product quality in Brazil in 1983. He has experience in
the area of Administration, with emphasis on Information Systems, acting mainly on the following
topics: EA—Enterprise Architecture, IoMA—Internet of Management Artifacts, Management of
Organizational Strategy, Mapping of Processes, and Performance Indicators.
