reported. In the observation well number I/537/1, located in the Warmian-Masurian
voivodeship, the water of the Cl–Na type has been found. The chloride content
reported in the well reached 2200 mg/dm
3, and the sodium content amounted to
1358.7 mg/dm
3 . These ranges exceed considerably concentrations of such ions in
typical groundwater of the Cretaceous aquifer level, which is noticeable in the Piper
diagram below (Fig. 11.6). The reason for such results is the great depth of the
observation well and the rising of brackish water.
