Dimensions: Total width: 40–70 µ; corpus height 27–48 µ (100 specimens
measured).
Remarks and comparison: P. limpidus is distinguished from P. amplus by its size,
being generally smaller. Comments to P. amplus apply, namely that P. amplus
and P. limpidus ought to be amalgamated into one species.
