Ramazan Caner Sayan is an early career academic who is currently working for
United Nations Unitersity Institute for Water, Environment and Health
(UNU-INWEH), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from
the University of Dundee in May 2016 and worked as a postdoctoral researcher,
consultant and part-time lecturer at the same university between 2016 and 2018. His
research expertise and interests are in the broad fields of environmental and
development politics, particularly water governance. His publications have
appeared in prestigious outlets such as Water Policy, Local Environment and the
International Journal of Water Governance.

Sezin İba Gürsoy is Associate Professor of International Relations at Kırklareli
University. She has a Ph.D. from Istanbul University (European Union programme). Her current research interests focus on theories of security, food and
water security, environment security and climate change. She is also co-head of the
Department of International Relations at Kirklareli University.

Süheyla Suzan Gökalp Alıca is an Associate Professor at Hacı Bayram Veli
University’s Law Faculty, where she specializes in environmental law. From 1988
to 1991 she was a trainee judge and judge in Arpaçay-Kars. After that she worked
as an environment expert and legal adviser at the Ministry of Environment from
1991 to 2007. Her activity was mainly related to preparing draft environmental
regulations and dealing with environmental legal problems to find solutions to
disputes of the Ministry of Environment. She also has a postgraduate diploma in
environmental law from Ankara University. She has given many seminars and
conferences on environmental law. She has also published several articles on
environmental law and administrative law. Dr. Alica is currently responsible for
training in environmental law and administrative law. She is also a legal adviser at
UNDP and EU Projects.
