Şule Güneş is an Associate Professor in Public International Law who has more
than 25 years’ experience of research, teaching and consultancy on environmental
and marine issues. She is also among the founders and current members of the
Steering Committee and the Academic Board of the Earth System Science
Programme at the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences and a faculty
member at the Continuing Education Centre for the certificate programmes on
‘Applied Hydrographic Education’ and ‘Climate Change, Adaptation Policies and
Turkey’. She has written various publications on environmental, marine and
international law issues. Her book, entitled Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
within the context of International Law, was published in Turkish by Siyasal
Kitabevi in 2007.
