in one piece, through the recognition of each garment as the materialization of the
know-how of a particular community. Religare manages to protect the ancestral
knowledge and environmental capacity of the community through the recognition,
respect, and development of work ties. By sustaining its work on the intellectual
and economic reciprocity with the communities, it is possible to make them visible,
dignify them, and recognize their ancestral knowledge.
Its commitment to artisanal luxury is connected through the creation of unique
and personalized routes, built with the environmental and spiritual knowledge of
indigenous communities and designers. These routes are created to recognize in
each piece of luxury the human effort for beauty, refinement, innovation, purity,
perfection, and experience [30].
Religare has participated in the most famous fashion fairs in the country, showing
in each catwalk the articulated result of ancestral work and the thoughtful design,
developed and processed carefully. Subsequently, the brand achieves to maintain
tradition and cultural legacy in other ways of appreciating the subject premium,
respecting natural assets, and manual labor at each stage of creation (Fig. 10).
The ancestral creative development linked to national brands such as Religare
allows the country to know the Coreguaje community, its location, and its ability to
work the Cumare, in other national settings such as parades, fairs, and exhibitions.
These synergies allow the general public to recognize that in the Colombian territory,
there are other latent and significant cultures for the historical development of the
country and the fashion and artisanal luxury industry.
The most significant point about the articulation of this brand and the indigenous
community they work with is the respect for the production times of the communities.
