4.3.8.7 Environment of operating region
1. Operating region needs to be well ventilated and dustproof and dedusting measures should be taken. The emission of dust and harmful gases
(hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, and so on) should accord
with the regulations in standard GBZ 1.
2. Ground of the operation region needs to be hardened and clean. No
materials irrelevant to the production are allowed to be placed in the
operating region.
4.3.8.8 Internal and external environments of the composting plants
1. The noise emission at boundary of plants needs to conform to regulations
in the standard GB 12348.
2. The emission of leachate and sewage should follow regulations in the
standard GB 8978.
3. The allowable concentration of odor pollutants at boundary of plants
should conform to regulations in standard GB 14554.
4. Necessary fly eradication measures should be taken in composting
plants.
4.3.9 Safety Management
4.3.9.1 The safety and sanitary management during the production should follow
regulations in standard GB/T 12801-2008.
4.3.9.2 Complete regulatory framework and operating instruction for safety production need to be formulated. Operating personnel on each post should
strictly execute the safety operation rules of the posts.
4.3.9.3 Safety and healthy conditions and protection appliance should be provided
for operating personnel. Operating personnel should use these appliance
in accordance with the regulations.
4.3.9.4 Protective covers should be used for kinematic chains of driving, transmission, feeding, and roller parts that expose to the outside of the machines,
or contact prevention devices should be installed at locations exposed to
operators.
4.3.9.5 Except for the parts having to be exposed, cutters in machines should
be shielded or protective covers, contact prevention devices, or ejection
prevention devices should be utilized.
4.3.9.6 Braking devices or emergency shutdown devices should be installed if the
rotation of shaft due to inertia after poweroff is likely to lead to damages.
4.3.9.7 The transportation management in plants or workshops should follow
regulations in standard GB 4387.
