4.2.3.2 Maintenance
1. Facilities such as roads and drainage system should be checked and maintained
at regular intervals. Once abnormalities are found, they should be repaired in
time.
2. Power supply facilities, electric appliance, lighting equipment, and communication lines need to be checked and maintained regularly.
3. Loading and lifting equipment in waste transfer stations, landfilling equipment, facilities for mechanical separation, and transport vehicles should undergo
routine and regular graded main.
4. Lightning-protection and explosion-proof equipment should be inspected and
maintained by professional according to relevant standards.
5. All kinds of transportation and notice signs need to be inspected and replaced
regularly.
6. All kinds of fire-fighting devices should be checked and replaced regularly.
4.2.3.3 Safety Operation
1. The safety and healthy management during the operation should obey the
regulations in standard GB/T 12801-2008.
2 The setting of fire-fighting devices needs to accord with regulations in standard
GB 50140.
3. Striking signs should be set in locations prone to disasters, in accordance with
the regulations in standards GB 2893 and GB 2894.
4. Transportation management in the collection and disposal sites for domestic
wastes should follow the regulations in standard GB 4387.
5. Regulations on hazardous wastes in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region should
be followed concerning the collection, storage, transportation, and disposal of
hazardous wastes such as inflammable, explosive, and highly toxic ones.
