and towns have been compiled. The Ministry of Environment and Ecology of the
People’s Republic of China has recognized the above work. The ministry pointed out
that Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region has formulated and promulgated a series of
standards for comprehensive improvement of rural environment through active innovation based on the actual conditions in the promotion of continuous improvement
of rural environment (Fig. 4.1). This provides guarantees for doing all tasks well and
the practices and experience are worth learning and promoting. The promulgation of
standards and norms provides an important basis for rural environmental protection
in Ningxia and ensures that continuous improvement of rural environment is efficiently and orderly carried out. Relevant achievements have award the second prize
of National Excellent Engineering Consultation.
4.2 Operation Norms of Facilities for Treating Rural
Domestic Wastes (DB 64/T 867-2013)
4.2.1 Application Scope
The standard specifies general regulations on the operation norms of facilities for
treatming rural domestic wastes and the operation technologies of equipment for
waste collection and transportation, waste landfill sites, and composting equipment.
The standard is applicable to the operation management, maintenance, and safety
operation of facilities for disposing rural domestic wastes.
