14.4.2 UHPCC-FST Column Subjected to Near Explosion
The dynamic response of UHPCC-FST column subjected to a close-in TNT explosion
was conducted by Wang et al. (2020) and is numerically simulated in this section.
The setup for this field blast test was reported in detail in (Wang et al. 2020) and
is briefly shown in Fig. 14.13. The UHPC-FST column used in this test is exactly
the same as that used in the drop-hammer impact introduced in Sect. 14.4.1 and not
repeated here. The top of the column was clamped by a steel bolt to represent the
