The total 19 panels were divided into three groups, as listed in Table 6.2, in
which Group 1–3 denote the bare UHP-BASFRC panels, UHMWPE and CFRP
strengthened UHP-BASFRC panels, respectively. The first and the second numbers
of the Shot No. in Table 6.2 denote the Group and nominal thickness of the slab in
centimeter, respectively. For example, 2–8 means UHP-BASFRC panel with nominal
thickness 8 cm and strengthened by UHMWPE fabric in Group 2.
6.3 Test Results
6.3.1 Damage of Target
Visible damage, including the front and the rear faces of the panels were recorded
after each shot as shown in Figs. 6.6, 6.7 and 6.8. Figure 6.7 shows the rear faces of
