The time history (signal) exhibits sudden amplitude change corresponding to the
birth of frequencies ω 3 , ω 4 in time instant t = 3200. The power of the excitation
frequencies S(ω p ) in that time instant decreases, and hence energy exchange of the
beam takes place (c). The phase portrait (d) implies the existence of attractors symmetrically located with regard to the origin (0;0) which manifests the influence of frequencies ω 3 , ω p . LLE time history (e) in the interval t ∈ [1300; 3100] takes positive
values under the influence of the frequencies ω 1 , ω 2 , ω 6 , ω 7 , ω 8 . The birth of frequencies ω 3 , ω 4 implies sudden increase of the LLE in time interval t ∈ [3100; 3400].
