– the Lower Tur Plain—from multiple causes, one of which being the impossibility
to gravitationally organise the systems;
– the Tisa corridor from Piatra to Câmpulung la Tisa, as it is a more remote area
towards the main courses of Iza, Mara, Tisa and Lower Rona;
– the median Iza basin and upper Rona basin, due to a more rugged terrain;
– the upper Ruscova basin, due to a very high relief energy and a significant runoff
torrentiality (Fig. 12.7 and 12.8);
– the median Vis , eu basin and the village of Moisei, due to economic failure after the
closure of non-ferrous exploitations in the Southern Maramures , ului Mountains.
On counties, localities in Satu Mare have somewhat better percentages than those
in Maramures , County, and the situation on river basins has been previously shown.
12.4.2 Required Water for the Population
The required water supplies for the population has been calculated using the specific
state standards issued in the years 1989, 1995 and 2006, that is STAS 1343/0-89,
SR 1343-1:1995 and SR 1343-1:2006, and the analysis of the two residential areas,
urban and rural.
Six different classes have been set accordingly for the specifically required water
supply in the studied area (calculation options from minimal to maximal), three each
for both rural and urban areas, as follows:
Urban areas
(I) indoor water installations and sewer—hot water preparation with solid fuel
(235 l/person/day);
(II0 indoor water installations and sewer—hot water preparation with gas
(280 l/person/day);
(III) indoor water installations and sewer—central heating systems
(415 l/person/day).
Rural areas
(I) areas with water distribution through pumps on streets (100 l/person/day);
(II) indoor water installations and sewer—hot water preparation with solid fuel
(235 l/person/day);
(III) indoor water installations and sewer—hot water preparation with gas and
electricity (280 l/person/day).
The GIS modelling performed reveals interesting situations, customized for each
area of the studied zone (Fig. 12.18).
The highest values of the specifically required water ratio have been determined
for the third calculus option:
