As far as the spatial distribution of the specifically required water ratio is concerned, for all three calculus options, some localities—Sighetul Marmat , iei, Bors , a,
Vis , eul de Sus and Negres , ti-Oas , (urban areas) and Bixad, Trip, Boine¸ sti, Certeze,
Reme¸ ti, S˘ apân¸ ta, Câmpulung la Tisa, Saras˘ au, Lazu Baciului, Rona de Sus, Bârsana and Petrova (rural areas) stand out with values close to 160 l/person/day first
category, respectively pass 5 l/person/day the latter.
The global water requirement for the studied area could non be calculated due
to the lack of several data categories (industry water requirement, agricultural needs
etc.) and their lack of homogeneity.
Altogether, higher water requirements are obvious in the areas with economic
activities, either industrial and industry-related (Sighetu Marmat , iei area), tourismrelated activities (highly represented by traditional components or local specificity)
or due to the significant development of the accommodation base for tourists (in
Bixad, S˘ apân¸ ta-Peri, Sighetu Marma¸ tiei, Rona de Sus, Rona de Jos, Co¸ stiui, Bârsana,
Petrova).
