The structure of the financing was:
– 50% EBRD credit;
– 37.5% PHARE non-refundable funds;
– 12.5% National Fund contribution.
It represented the first significant program, after 1989, to expand and modernize
the water supply infrastructure for this category of urban localities.
The most significant achievements in the water supply infrastructure of Cluj-S˘ alaj
that were attained during this program are:
– replacement of approximately 115.6 km of water distribution network;
