Add test materials to an empty and sterile 300 mL Erlenmeyer flask. When an
organic solvent is used, absorb it and remove it. Add 200 mL of fresh TP 100 nutrient
medium into this flask, and inoculate 10 mL of the microcosm N-system from the
plateau stage, and begin cultivation. Install a DO electrode and begin measurement
from a cultivation initiation time as described in Sect. 5.3.3. Additionally, for
ecosystem impact assessments of various chemical substances, the method described
in Sect. 5.3.3 is generally used.
