The internal consistency of the sustainable clothing scale (SCC) is moderately good
from the beginning, with a Cronbach-Alpha of 0.7, with little room for improving to
0.71 by dropping item 7 (descriptive statistics are presented in Appendix Table 2).
The lowest mean values of all items appear, in order, for items 6, 5, and 13. The
strong dissociation from these behaviors is probably linked to several characteristics
of our students that may regard: their need for control and ownership (item 5), the
