Dr. Carmen Valentina Rădulescu is Associate Professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies,
at the Department of Agro-Food and Environmental
Economics. She is a PhD tutor since 2017 for the Faculty of Agro-Food and Environmental Economics. During her tenure at BUES, she developed several courses
for graduate and undergraduate levels. Her skills promoted her as chair of various commissions for organizing international scientific events and as a member of
many editorial boards of international database indexed
journals. She received awards for her work as a professor and also for the books she published. Professor
Rădulescu has published several books and more than
150 articles.
Dr. Stefanie Schulte is the Policy Manager at the NSW
Irrigators’ Council. The Council has 26 member organizations through which it represents 12,000 water
licence holders in New South Wales, Australia. The
Council membership comprises of commodity groups,
irrigation infrastructure operators, and valley water user
associations from across the state. Since starting with the
Council in 2011, Schulte has worked extensively on
issues surrounding state and national water reform processes in Australia, including the Murray-Darling Basin
Plan. She has also researched in areas of water and
energy price regulation and environmental management.
As part of her work with NSWIC, she closely collaborates with agricultural industry bodies in both California
and New Zealand. Schulte holds a Bachelor of Economics (2007), a Master of Applied Economics (2008) and a
Master of Economics (2011) from the University of
Adelaide. In addition, she also holds a Master of Global
Law from the University of Sydney (2017). Prior to her
work with the Council, Schulte held various teaching
positions at the South Australian universities and at
Ngee Ann College in Singapore.
