Master of Environmental Management (1999) and a
Master of International Environmental Law (2007). In
her work prior to Cotton Australia, Brown pursued roles
that explored the nexus between agriculture and the
environment, typically working on sustainability issues,
involving policy, and advocacy.
Dr. Georgina Davis is a Chartered Waste Manager and

Opportunity Enterprise and holds an Adjunct position at
Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. She provides
policy advice to Queensland’s peak farming body, the
Queensland Farmers’ Federation (QFF) and its member

Prof. Dr. Elena Druică is Full Professor of statistics
for business, applied econometrics and data analysis
with the University of Bucharest. She was formally
trained in mathematics, completing her PhD in 2003.
During her PhD, she studied genetic algorithms and
optimization processes, developing a new classification
of objective functions that converge to the optimum in
polynomial time. During her second doctoral work, she
studied Economics with a particular focus on risk
assessment, and she now applies her skills in the area
of saving behaviour, implementing agent-based modelling to explain peer pressure influence on economic
rationality. Druică is interested in agent-based modelling and uses Net Logo to simulate various social and
economic phenomena and is also skilled in using statistical and econometric methods to deal with real data for
both descriptive and predictive purposes. She is trained
in R programming language.
