Dr. Dumitru-Alexandru Bodislav is a lecturer at the
Economics and Economic Policy Department of the
Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He participated in numerous online and onsite courses and seminars at Harvard Business School, Columbia Business
School, Michigan University, IBM, and Microsoft. For
his postdoctoral fellowship, he researched the Big Data–
Business Intelligence synergy and its influence on socioeconomic indicators for creating better government
measures. He has also published and presented more
than 130 research papers worldwide. Bodislav has
authored or co-authored several books published in the
USA and Europe, some of them bestsellers in their
domains, especially the one published by Palgrave
Macmillan.
Dr. Florina Bran is a professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, at the Department of AgroFood and Environmental Economics. She is a PhD tutor
for more than 12 years and acted as vice dean for the
Faculty of Agro-Food and Environmental Economics.
During her tenure at BUES she has developed several
courses for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
Her skills promoted her as chair of various commissions
for organizing international scientific events. Bran has
received several awards such as Professor Emeritus,
Doctor Honoris Causa, Excellency Award and the honour of being a visiting professor at Partherope University of Naples (Italy). Bran has published more than
50 books and over 200 articles as author or co-author.
Dr. Jennifer Brown is a Policy Officer at Cotton
Australia. This is the key representative body for
Australia’s cotton growing industry, supporting about
1200 cotton farming families across 152 regional communities in New South Wales, Queensland, and now
into Victoria. In her work with Cotton Australia, Brown
focuses on energy and environmental management to
foster policies that reflect growers’ needs. She represents Cotton Australia’s interests nationally via agricultural industry bodies as well as engaging industry
organizations and government, primarily across New
South Wales and Queensland. Brown holds a Bachelor
of Applied Science (Systems) Agriculture (1989), a
