outer layer in addition to the layout as in Case (b) at a distance of 20 m
from the same (Fig. 4.18(e)). Based on the wave height distribution, [Case
(c)] shown in Fig. 4.18(f), i.e., the two layered protection measure was finalized and implemented. The fabrication of units and its effect on the coral
growth are shown in Fig. 4.18(g). The protection measure is found very
effective and has also withstood two cyclones.
