Fatty acids in trace amounts (≤0.5%) were identified in phospholipids,
i-15:0, 5-16:1, i-17:0, 13-Me-16:0, 9-19:1, 21:0, 7,10-22:2, 23:0, 24:0
and 25:0, and triglycerides, 12:0, 13:0, i-14:0, 4,8,12-triMe-13:0, i-15:0,

23:0 and 17-24:1.
Further studies will investigate the fatty acid content of the venom
duct from some cones in order to determine the amount of arachidonic
acid present and confirm its role as an active contractile substance.
