Conclusion
This study evidenced that a crude lipid extract can be tised for the formulation of liposomes designed to aquaculture. Thiamine was used as
an example of an hydrosoluble vitamin that could be of interest in the
case of nutritional deficiency. Bilayer impermeability towards this
vitamin, when vesicles are placed in sea water, was increased by liposome surface modification with dextran. Uptake and metabolism of
these liposomes by ovocytes and larvae of Pacific oysters are under
investigation.
