The numerous explorations and research throughout the world have led to a better understanding of the complex evolution of the land morphologies. The study of the geomorphologic processes and the dating of the resultant morphologies have allowed for a deeper knowledge of the climatic changes that occurred on the earth in the last few million years. Faced with the future global warming, Climatic Geomorphology provides important data to forecast the response of the geomorphologic processes and resultant landforms to the predicted climatic conditions.
