Advances in ecological research (volume 3)

There is a clear need for readily available, up-to-the-minute authoritative statements on the advances being made both in the classical and the modern fields of botanical research and these volumes are presented with the intention of providing for this need. They differ from other series in that the articles included are not, in the main, reviews but represent assessments, by recognized authorities of their own work against the the background of relevant work in progress in other laboratories.
