Lecture notes on coastal and estuarine studies : marine phytoplancton and productivity

Lecture Notes on Coastal and Estuarine Studies will include but are not limited to: (1) mufti-authored, integrated contributions derived from workshops, conferences, or symposia (but not un-integrated collections of contributions from such conferences); (2) quite literally class lecture notes; (3) single author Or coauthored monographs which may late r be published in full book form; and (4) reviews to the natural phenomena (and possibly their social economic, and political Implications) occurring in regional regimes. Its scope is quite broad: (1) its province Consists of estuaries, harbors. Lagoons shallow seas, continental shelves, continental slopes, and in fact, the entire extended jurisdiction zone (the scaled 200 mile limit); (2) Its disciplines include not only coastal marine and atmospheric sciences, coastal fisheries coastal and ocean engineering, but also coastal marine policy, coastal ocean management and coastal transportation; (3} its purview covers interdisciplinary and international aspects of topics; and (4) its scope extends to the less developed countries. These informal volumes ensure the synthesis and speedy publication of significant information in important and rapidly evolving fields of marine science engineering, and policy. The Editorial Board seeks authors who are leaders in basic and applied research and management, and those able to transform scientific findings into a form readily applicable to solving societal problems.
