Résumé
Cette étude consiste à faire le point sur la situation actuelle de la conchyliculture dans le
monde et en Algérie et à présenter les différents modes d’élevages. Ce travail a été alimenté
par plusieurs sources telles que les enquêtes auprès des promoteurs des entreprises
conchylicoles ainsi qu’une analyse bibliographique des données de la production
conchylicoles. Il en ressort que la conchyliculture est en pleine progression notamment après
l’application du Plan National de Développement de l’Aquaculture.

Summary
This study consists of taking stock of the current situation of shellfish farming in the world
and in Algeria and presenting the different farming methods. This work was informed by
several sources such as surveys of promoters of shellfish farming companies as well as a
bibliographic analysis of shellfish production data. It shows that shellfish farming is growing,
especially after the application of the National Aquaculture Development Plan.
