with regard to the distribution of diatoms in the same region.
The same trend is also evident, according to DELALO (1966), in the distribution of
zooplankton, with 571, 81 and 48 mg m- 3 in the Gulf of Aden, the southern and the
northern parts of the Red Sea respectively.
