Postscript
Since this chapter was presented during the Symposium on Large-Scale Constructions
in Coastal Environments in April 1997, the authorities' monitoring programme has been
revised (number and position of stations, sampling strategies etc.) for the second year
of monitoring. The revision was made with regard to improving the statistical analysis
of possible effects caused by the construction work. The revision was based on the
experience from the first year of monitoring, July 1996-June 1997, and recommendations of the International Advisory Expert Panel for the 0resund Fixed Link.
