Describers and/or indicators built on soil-suiface characters:
Per unit of surface and for each reference ecological system, find the rates of
variation of the following components:
- Evolution of the litter and of the vegetation (level 0);
- Evolution of the physical states of the soil surface;
- Evolution of the movable, mobile components of the surface (percentage of
surface influenced by aeolian deflation; percentage of surface influenced by
aeolian deposits);
- Evolution of different types of aeolian deposits (voiles, nebkas; barkanes;
massive dunes), or sedimentary (following the swelling of oueds, or the
streaming on the slopes, ... ).
Describers and/or indicators of soils hydric features:
Evolution of the thickness of movable-soil profile fitted III assunng the
conservation of rains and streaming waters;
- Evolution of the useful hydric reserve for vegetal growth;
- Modification of the natural or artificial surface reservoirs (temporary ponds,
jessours, ... ).
Describers and/or indicators offeatures related to soils fertility:
- Evolution of the rates of organic matter of surface horizons;
- Evolution of the rates of C, N, P20 S' K20 ... ;
- Evolution of the relation C/N;
- Evolution of the indicators of soils clogging.
