These results are combined to illustrate the annual percentage of fish prey taken by
each predator (see Fig. 6). Sandeel and Norway Pout dominate the diets of mackerel,
saithe, whiting and haddock and the annual average tonnage of each prey species
which are eaten by all the predators combined are illustrated in Fig. 7. The
corresponding numerical data in Table 3 illustrates the consumption per quarter and
total annual consumption.
