Habitat: Primarily found in freshwater habitats, but they can also inhabit
marine and soil environments.
Description: It is a two-flagellated
microorganism with an exquisite spiral
exoskeleton called a pellicle, as well as
many other novel cell structures, such
as nucleus, mitochondria, chloroplasts,
Golgi bodies, lysosomes, vacuoles, an
endoplasmic reticulum, an eyespot,
and a few other eukaryotic organelles.
Cell is approximately 50  µm long and
10 µm wide. This is a food supplement
(MicrobeWiki, 2011).
