Description: Shells of this species are
rounded, oval to elliptical, broad in
proportions, thick, and short in contrast
to Lamellidens. Cardinal teeth are narrowed and umbos are elevated with a
strong ridge (Prabhakar and Roy, 2008).

valves. Length and height of the shell
