Silver Carp

of an initial experiment testing the effects Of graded
amounts
of PIM administered together with 0.1 mg/kg LHRH—A on serum GtH
levels and ovulation in bream are shown in Fig. 3.
Serum GtH
levels in
LHRH—A injected fish were elevated at both 8 and 24 hours when compared to
control
or
PIM—injected groups.
However, injection of PIM (0.1, 1 and
together with LHRH—A resulted in higher serum GtH levels than
injection of LHRH—A alone at both 8 and 24 hours.
