of the speckle-field and microhemodynamics of the area of skin under study
in different physiological states.
5.6. The power density of laser radiation on a human body should not exceed
the maximum of safety values according to “sanitary standards and rules
of arrangement and operation of lasers” No 2392-81.
Technical conditions for the laser diagnostic apparatus (LDA) “specklometer”
were developed as a result of the conducted study on the creation of a new generation
of diagnostic devices based on principles of coherent optics. There were conducted
state technical examination and metrological certification of a test piece of LDA
“specklometer” on the basis of “Standardization and Metrology Center” as well as
hygienic examination according to the parameters of physical factors and sanitarychemical study. The program and methods of medical tests of the test piece of LDA
were developed. Hygienic and medical tests were conducted in a number of medical
establishments of Belarus. The laser diagnostic apparatus “specklometer” TY RB
100103849.001-2001 was recommended for registration and application in medical
practice of the Scientific Research Establishment of Neurology, Neurosurgery and
Physiotherapy of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus by the Medical
Equipment Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.
On the August 8, 2001, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus
issued a registered card IMT No IM-7.2263 to the Scientific Research Establishment of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Physiotherapy of the Ministry of Health of
the Republic of Belarus. Thus, the laser diagnostic apparatus “specklometer” is registered by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus (state registration number
is MT-7.15047-0108) and today it is successfully applied in medical practice on the
territory of the Republic of Belarus.
5.4 Theoretical Study of Biomechanical Characteristics
of Skeletal Muscles and Determining the Ways
of Optimization of the Optical Scheme of the Laser
Specklometer
In this paragraph, the calculation of spatial distribution of the speckle-field intensity
is depicted as well as the ways of optimization of the optical scheme.
One of the methods of studying muscle oscillation is the method of light diffraction on the oscillating under muscle impact skin surface. If it is assumed that the
skin surface is a diffuser and the angle of light incidence onto the surface is rather
small, then the amplitude distribution in the observation point after light diffraction
is determined by the Debye integral [145]:
