valves and cardiac muscle region, as well as information about the whole or partial
hemodynamics on the whole surface of the human chest.
Usage of the laser-holographic complex (holographic cardiograph) in the sphere
of cardiology opens ample opportunities to conduct contactless noninvasive study
with cardiovascular pathologies.
As these methods of getting information about the state of human health are
contactless, efficient and safe it improves work of cardiological centers and makes
it more resultant during professional examination and selection. It also becomes
determinative while solving expert questions in disability level estimation, provides
possibility of mass diagnostic study of population during radiation damage.
According to medical specialists of the Institute of Neurology, Neurosurgery
and Physiotherapy and the Institute of Cardiology of the Ministry of Health of the
Republic of Belarus who participated in this study, the laser-holographic complex
(holographic cardiograph) will give the possibility to conduct search and study
of factors that enable to investigate deeper the regulating mechanism of nervous,
endocrine, cardiovascular and muscular systems, on its basis the ways of influence
on these mechanisms will be developed and it will be implemented in clinical practice.
The application of the highly efficient holographic interferometry methods is
rather perspective for the study and diagnostics of vertebragenous diseases of peripheral nervous system, in pathogenesis of which the vascular factor plays an important
role. Detection of hemodynamic malfunctions and establishment of correlations of
system hemodynamics changes with regional blood flow indices in patients with
osteochondrosis neurologic manifestations will make it possible to find out the pathogenesis of a disease by a particular person that gives the possibility to conduct therapy
of this pathology differentially.
Along with this the laser-holographic complex can help to get data about functional state of skeletal muscles and intensity of anatomical changes of the spine
that is very important while solving the question concerning the appropriateness
of developing indices to kinesitherapy including manual therapy. The complex can
be implemented in the research of muscle biomechanics and micro-hemodynamics
while studying osseous–articular apparatus, in otolaryngology, in dentistry and traumatic surgery for detection of different bone tissue changes in statics and in dynamics,
in bioengineering while transplant creating and artificial organs, etc.
In many cases, implementation of the holographic complex will give the possibility to eliminate the necessity of traditional examination methods, for example,
roentgenology, that is very important for the republic to ease the consequences of
the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power station.
Along with this the complex can help to shorten time of examination and therefore
of purposeful treatment of patients.
The author of this book is the initiator, the research supervisor, the principle
investigator and just the executor of the project “Development and assimilation
of the laser-holographic complex for detection of the state of human circulatory
system.” This study was conducted by the scientific group of “Coherent-optical
research of medical–biological systems” founded by the author in the Research
Institute of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Physiotherapy of the Ministry of Health
