Above engineering and environment parameters on lunar surface, would be important basis for design of future robotic and manned lunar exploration missions in
China, which played an important role in sustainable development of China lunar
exploration.
The first priority of Chagn’E-3 lunar lander was successful landing. Then priority
should be given to the very important and lightweight engineering instruments. After
proposal and deliberately analyzing, it was determined that there would be three
monitoring cameras to monitor the status of the lunar rover, and one lunar dust
detector to investigate lunar dust accumulation on lunar surface.
