14.5 Ground Test System
477
(2) Test equipment of TT&C and Telecommunication subsystem: to implement
signal reception and demodulation of telemetry and payload transmission data,
signal modulation and transmission of telecommand data, and the automatic
test of the subsystem performance.
(3) Test equipment of GNC subsystem: to test the functions, performances and
control accuracy in open-loop and closed-loop test of GNC subsystem.
(4) Test equipment of scientific payload subsystem: to process data and implement
the test of scientific payload subsystem instruments such as cameras, lunar
based observatory, Ultra Violet Camera and etc.
(5) Test equipment of engineering parameter measurement subsystem: to process
data and test the monitor camera and lunar dust detector.
14.5.4 Verification of Ground Test Equipment
Before the system test of the lunar lander in all phases, the ground test equipment
should be calibrated. The SCOE should be tested and debugged according to the test
plan of subsystem ground test equipment. The interface of OCOE to MTP, database
server, test terminals, DJS and display terminals and operation status should be examined. After internal joint test of SCOES was finished, system-level joint test between
subsystem SCOEs as well as OCOE and SCOE, should be conducted according to the
test plan. Generally there were joint tests including the joint test of OCOE, power
supply ground equipment and the lunar lander simulator, the joint test of OCOE
and telemetry front-end, telecommand front-end, data transmission front-end, the
joint test of OCOE and subsystem SCOEs including GNC, propulsion, engineering
data measurement and scientific payload, the joint test of data transmission frontend and subsystem SCOEs of GNC, engineering data measurement and scientific
payload. For the test with test sequence, the verification of sending sequence should
be conducted before the lunar lander was powered on. In the remote test mode, the
optical terminals and optical links should be verified before the test began.
14.6 Electrical Testing Methodology
14.6.1 Tests
The electrical test content of the lunar lander included interface checkout, subsystem
detail test of function and performance, flight simulation test and basic status test, as
shown in Table 14.4. The purpose of interface checkout was to verify the correctness
and compatibility of the interface between subsystems and instruments in order to
ensure the test safety and establish the test state of the lunar lander. The purpose
of subsystem detail test was to verify the correctness of function and performance
of the subsystem and the coordination between subsystems. The purpose of flight
